Project Description
Who They Are
Cisco’s Bedfont Showroom is a global composite organization representing 52 entities across both public and private sectors. With a dynamic range in size from 50 to over 20,000 employees, these entities share a common set of roles and responsibilities, embodying both the diversity and unity of the organization. As part of its ongoing pursuit for innovation, the Bedfont Showroom collaborates with CISG (Cloud, Infrastructure, and Solutions Group), a key partner in helping them evolve and bring their future vision to life. The organization’s goal is to deliver its innovative solutions to customers on a local and global scale, pushing boundaries every step of the way.
What I Did
As a freelance WordPress developer on an 8-week contract, I had the pleasure of creating a robust marketing website for Cisco. The project involved creating about 12 pages, including Home, About, Events, Blog, Showroom, Ecosystem, Education, Team, and more.
To ensure quick loading times and prevent tampering with the design framework, I developed a custom page builder for the website. Modern animations were brought to life using Isotope.JS, and I used Tribe Events to implement a custom events calendar. Other work included creating different custom post types and making the website fully responsive using the Bootstrap framework.
Every step was carefully considered to ensure the website mirrored Cisco’s innovative approach, creating a digital platform that effectively communicates their story and showcases their solutions.
