Who They Are

ProofMaster is the leading destination in the UK for native and non-native English-speaking students, offering top-quality editing services to help them achieve the grades they truly deserve and attain the success they have diligently pursued.

What I Did

In collaboration with Figment Agency, I undertook a complete revamp of the ProofMaster website. Utilizing design wireframes, mockups, and PSDs provided by Figment Agency, I built the website from scratch using a starter boilerplate (Underscores.me). The website incorporates WooCommerce for seamless online selling and has been customized according to their specific design requirements.

The functionality allows customers to easily upload files (.doc, PDF, or .txt), with the algorithm automatically counting the words and offering a range of primary and additional services, comment sections, and the option to include additional reference formatting files. Upon completing the checkout process, customers receive an email with the attached invoice. Payment options include PayPal and bank transfers, with all uploaded documents securely stored in Dropbox.

To enhance user experience and simplify management, I implemented the Advanced Custom Fields Plugin, making it user-friendly for non-technical proofreaders. The website boasts a responsive design, ensuring optimal display across various devices in both portrait and landscape modes.

Throughout the development process, I focused on optimizing website performance, improving SEO scores, and enhancing overall security. This project stands as the most significant endeavor I have undertaken independently in terms of development. Fortunately, working alongside the experienced project manager from Figment Agency streamlined the process for both of us, making it a seamless journey.
